It’s that time of year again, time to get ready for fall and our GPSA Fall Piano Workshop for some fresh inspiration this season! Back by popular demand, Linda Nakagawa will again be our clinician for November 8-11, again at Jane Guerin’s studio, 269 W. Walnut Lane. Linda enjoyed her time with us so much in 2018, that even though she had decided not to travel so much anymore, she is making time to come teach us and our students again this year.

“Using Graduation Pieces to set the stage for Tone and Technique in the Most Advanced Repertoire”

The Friday morning teacher session, like last year, will offer teachers the opportunity to participate, with a focus on important skill spots in our graduation repertoire that, when mastered, enable success with more advanced repertoire down the road. Teachers will have the opportunity to perform (with up to two others on up to three pianos!) graduation pieces up to level III (Minuets/Gigue in Book 4) and get practice tips to help students better solidify these skills that will help them as they progress to the next level in their studies, whether or not they participate in GPSA’s or another graduation program.
