General Information: GPSA is a non-profit organization that aspires to improve the quality of life through the Suzuki approach of music education. Performers in this event will include violin, viola, cello, and string bass of various ages and musical levels. Students and teachers from the area come together in shared repertoire to present a fun, casual, and Halloween themed concert. Pieces will be performed in group style led by different Suzuki teachers. Pieces will be performed by memory, unless playing harmony parts. Participants in this event, as with all GPSA events, are subject to having their photos taken or video recordings for social media posts. As this is a family event, we encourage families to create photo and/or video memories. We are a huge family and cherish these moments.

The Play-in is Halloween Themed: All participants are encouraged to wear costumes for this event. Please be sensitive to your costume if you are a performer! Beware of elaborate and large costumes that can possibly prevent comfortable playing. Attire is casual, if you choose to not wear a costume.

The Play-In starts at 1:00 PM EST, but please arrive no later than 12:45 EST to allow enough time for unpacking, tuning, restroom, etc. Participants are welcome to arrive as early as 12:15 PM EST. This event will end at 2:30 PM EST.
